Hi, my name is Amelia Margulies.

Thank-you for taking the time to read this and look at my website. I am proud to announce the opening of Puppy Love Dog Salon in April 2007. I have been grooming dogs and cats for over 12 years. I obtained my schooling in Charlotte, NC at PetSmart, and was employed with them for nearly 3 years. I have consistently kept grooming over the years in groom shops, vet clinics, and out of my home. I now have had the wonderful opportunity to open my own dog salon/spa. I grew up in NC but have lived here in St. Joseph for 9 years now.

I also do continuing education to keep up on all the best grooming styles and products in the industry. I aim for top quality for your pet. I don’t let your pet leave until it smells better than you. I try to be as flexible as possible with my hours. My standard hours are Tuesday -Friday 7am til 3pm, and for your convenience, I am open on Saturdays from 8am -4pm by appointment only . I’m in this business for the love and passion for dogs. Your dog has my total 100% care and attention focused on them while they are in my salon.

In 2007 I opened this business as the only one here. Now I am pleased to say I have 3 employees. Rick our bather/brusher, Jessica and Amber are my other groomers. Both come with years of experience and the love and patience for dogs.

When I’m not grooming your dog, my wonderful husband and I raise our 3 beautiful children ages 15, 10, and 5. We also own 3 loving dogs as well. Godiva, our Chocolate Standard Poodle and Dexter and Jazzy our Brussels Griffons. You may see them here and there greeting you at my shop.
